Meeting of Tamar Charkviani with Ambassador of Hungary

"Georgia shall become a full-fledged member of the Western family, our country deserves it. Georgia will be a good partner for the European Union”, - Tamar Charkviani stated after meeting with the Ambassador of Hungary, H.E. Anna Sikó.

According to her, the main topic of the meeting was Georgia's application for EU membership. The conversation also touched upon the importance of granting candidate status to Georgia and the reforms implemented and to be implemented by Georgia on the way to its EU integration.

The sides discussed the ongoing political processes in the country, issues related to the imprisonment of the third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, and the polarization in the country.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Ambassador of Hungary, Gábor Mikecz.
