The Chair of the Faction “Our Georgia – Independent MPs”, Mariam Jashi met with the Ambassador of France, H.E. Diego Colas to discuss the upheld Parliamentary Elections and the political developments in the country.

“At the meeting with the Ambassador, we dwelt on the details related to the elections. I introduced the examples we possess of the violations detected during the Elections. We stressed the solutions as well. As noted, all political parties shall assume the responsibility, and first of all the ruling party to prevent the wide-scale confrontations and the rallies and maintain the peaceful form of the protest. I appeal to the diplomatic corps to play its active role in the formation of the dialogue. Similar to March 8, when the diplomatic corps played a crucial role, now, it is the moment when Georgia needs the support of the international community to prevent revolutionary scenarios and confrontations. We are capable to find the optimal ways out by means of the dialogue with the respective role played by the diplomatic corps”, - M. Jashi stated after the meeting.
