The Vice Speaker, Zviad Dzidziguri held the introductory meeting with the German Ambassador, H.E. Hubert Knirsch. The parties discussed bilateral relations.

“German Ambassador is a very experienced diplomatic with experience in Russia, Poland, Eastern European countries and cherishes an interesting vision about Georgia-Germany relations. His opinion is significant as Georgia needs cooperation with Germany in economic development, including trade relations etc. The Ambassador affirmed that Germany will support Georgia through increased investments and tourist inflow. And most importantly, Germany will strongly support Georgia in non-recognition policy”, - Z. Dzidziguri noted.

The meeting proved that Georgia-Germany cooperation is of utmost importance as Germany is the leader country in Europe and diplomatic and economic relations therewith gives us hope that Georgia soon will become the full-fledged member of EU.
