Zviad Shalamberidze, First Deputy Chair of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee, met with students and teachers of the Dilikauri Public School in Zestafoni Municipality.

During the meeting, Shalamberidze spoke with students about the work of the Parliament of Georgia and the importance of youth employment in the public sector.

The students showed particular interest in the procedures through which the country’s main financial document—the State Budget—passes before receiving final approval.

“We discussed both infrastructure projects and public institutions. We also talked about how interesting and accessible the public sector can be for young people. Youth and renewal always bring new ideas and initiatives”, - Zviad Shalamberidze stated after the meeting.

As part of their visit to Parliament, the students and teachers toured the Parliament building and the Ekvtime Takaishvili Museum of Georgian Parliamentarism.
