On 5 February 2026, the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament and Chairof the Interim Commission on the Restoration of Territorial Integrity and De-occupation,

Giorgi Volski, met with an initiative group of students from Sokhumi State University, who are planning to establish a Peace Education Center at the university.

During the meeting, organizational issues related to the establishment of the center were discussed.

​The participants also spoke about ongoing processes in Georgia and at the international level. Member of Parliament Varlam Liparteliani also took part in the meeting.
