
The Chair of the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee of the Parliament, Givi Mikanadze, visited public schools in Kakheti along with the Deputy Director of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency, Levani Mushkudiani, and local government representatives.
Givi Mikanadze inspected the construction of a new public school in the village of Ozaani in the Dedoplistskaro Municipality and the complete rehabilitation of the public school in the village of Arashenda in the Gurjaani Municipality.
The ongoing infrastructure projects in these schools are nearing completion.
As a result of the implemented works, both schools will have functional educational spaces, as well as science and computer laboratories, libraries, a doctor's office, resource rooms, sports facilities, and recreational areas. The schools will be equipped with all necessary educational resources, inventory, and technology. They will be fully adapted for persons with disabilities and will have new systems for computer networks, fire safety, heating, water supply and sewage, and electrical wiring.
The public school in the village of Ozaani is designed to accommodate 120 students, while the school in the village of Arashenda is designed for 464 students.
