The Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze, accompanied by the Director of the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency, Irakli Kuprava, and the Mayor of Samtredia Municipality, David Bakhtadze, visited Public School N1 to inspect the process of the rehabilitation works.

The works will upgrade the School with laboratories of the natural sciences and IT studies, a resource room, a school doctor, a gym and the assembly hall. The building is adapted to persons with special needs: steeper ramp, elevator and bathrooms.

The School is being rehabilitated within the wide-scale project of the construction and rehabilitation of the public general educational institutions; rehabilitation works are being held by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency.

After rehabilitation, up to 800 school-children will enjoy the comfortable and safe area with modern educational infrastructure.
