The Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze, accompanied by Irakli Kuprava - the Director of the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency; Zaal Dugladze - the Single Mandate MP for Khashuri; and the representatives of the local authorities, visited the village Kvenatkotsi, Kareli Municipality, and the village Osiauri, Khashuri Municipality, to get cognizant of the rehabilitation works of public schools.

The rehabilitation works will result in the opening of the laboratories for the natural sciences and IT studies in both schools equipped with all respective academic resources, devices and items, as well as the library, school doctor's office and the resources room. The schools are adapted for persons with disabilities and are equipped with sports infrastructure and recreational areas, computer networks, new fire safety, heating, sewerage and electricity systems.

Public schools offering fully upgraded, modern educational infrastructure, are comfortable, safe and ready for the new academic year. The public school of the village Osiauri in Khashuri Municipality will host 300 school-children, and the public school in the village Kvenatkotsi - 500 school-children.
