
Public lectures are given for students at the Faculty of Law in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the Technical University of Georgia, with participation from legal experts, professionals, and politicians.
Givi Mikanadze, the Head of the Working Group on Revisions to the Election Code and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Council of Open Government, gave a public lecture for aspiring attorneys as part of the aforementioned initiative.
The MP discussed with the students the legislative modifications that were made to election law and introduced them to the advancements made in transparent governance.
Additionally, Givi Mikanadze discussed with the youth the modifications made to the Public Service Law, which were put into effect at the suggestion of the faction Georgian Dream and aimed to establish a new regulation of internships and count internships as job experience.
He informed the students about the implementation of the 12-point recommendations of the European Union.
The meeting between the member of the parliament and the students took place in an interactive, question-and-answer mode.
The young people presented their opinions on various issues to Givi Mikanadze and thanked him for the meeting.
