On February 16, Istanbul hosted the PABSEC PA Budget and Audit Commission sitting, which was attended by the head of the Parliamentary Delegation to PABSEC, Irakli Mezurnishvili.

The Commission reviewed the budget execution report for 2025 and developed the draft budget for the upcoming year.

Following the meeting, Mr. Mezurnishvili was elected Chair of the Commission. He will present the report for the next year at the 67th General Assembly of PABSEC scheduled in Georgia.

In accordance with the decision of the 66th Assembly, held in Sofia in November 2025, the representatives of Georgia, Bulgaria and Azerbaijan were elected to the Commission.
