
At the 67th PABSEC Plenary Session, Irakli Mezurnishvili, Head of the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation, was elected Vice-President of PABSEC for a two-year term.
According to Irakli Mezurnishvili, the decision represents recognition of the active work of the Parliament of Georgia and the confidence it enjoys within the international parliamentary community.
"My election as Vice-President of PABSEC provides Georgia with an opportunity to become even more actively involved in planning the Assembly's activities and participating in the process of strategic decision-making. As Vice-President of the Organization, I stand ready to contribute to strengthening regional cooperation and to advancing and safeguarding our country's interests in international parliamentary forums”, - Irakli Mezurnishvili stated.
