At the session of the Culture Committee, discussions focused on ongoing and organizational matters.

Committee Chair Giorgi Gabunia emphasized the importance of the advisory council associated with the committee for effective legislative work.

"We must maintain maximum communication with representatives from various fields who directly create art and work within the cultural sector", - Giorgi Gabunia stated.

According to the Chair, in the previous convocation of Parliament, the advisory council included 29 representatives from the cultural sector. He also noted that consultations are underway regarding the number of members for the advisory council. The council will operate in four key areas: Georgian traditional and professional art, theater and cinema, literature, and cultural heritage.

"The committee must remain as open as possible. I am ready to engage with representatives from any field to discuss specific issues and work on solutions", - Giorgi Gabunia added.
