Bureau Defined the May 27–29 Plenary agenda

The Bureau of the Parliament of Georgia discussed the agenda for the plenary sessions scheduled for May 27–29.

Vice Speaker of Parliament Giorgi Kakhiani introduced new legislative initiatives to the Bureau members, and the lead and mandatory committees responsible for reviewing them were determined.

The Bureau members supported the expedited consideration of the legislative package on amendments to the Penitentiary Code of Georgia.

During the upcoming session week, Parliament will also consider draft laws on amendments to: the Administrative Offences Code; the Law“On State Procurement”; the Law“On Environmental Liability”; the Criminal Procedure Code of Georgia; the Law“On Broadcasting”; and other legislative initiatives.

The Parliament Bureau also discussed organizational matters.
