The amendments and changes were introduced to the Accreditation Rules for the Media Representatives to the Parliament, endorsed by the Speaker of the Parliament.

The amendments primarily concern the number of accredited parliamentary journalists and the rules for issuing single-pass special accreditations.

The amendments increase the number of camera crews from the Public Broadcaster and national general broadcasting television channels. Instead of the number of journalists required to form 10 camera crews, accreditation as a parliamentary journalist will now be available to a number of journalists sufficient to form no more than 15.

This amendment shall become effective on the date of its public announcement, in accordance with the procedure established by law.

The changes also clarify the rules and conditions for issuing single-pass special accreditations, which will take effect on January 1, 2026.

Additionally, two annexes have been introduced to the “Accreditation Rules for the Media Representatives to the Parliament.”

Annex No. 1 provides a unified form for submitting applications for parliamentary media accreditation, while Annex No. 2 provides a unified form for submitting applications for single-pass special accreditation.

 

The amendments and changes to the “Accreditation Rules for the Media Representatives to the Parliament” do not apply to the grounds for suspension or early termination of accreditation.

Applications for parliamentary media accreditation for 2026 will be available from 1 to 15 December 2025.
