Members of the Parliament of Georgia attended the opening of the educational and innovation space “UniverCity” in Kutaisi, held in connection with the Kutaisoba city celebration.

The project was implemented through cooperation between Kutaisi International University (KIU) and Kutaisi City Hall and aims to strengthen Kutaisi’s role as a leading university city.

The UniverCity space is located in the central square of Kutaisi. The project integrates four directions. In addition to the development of digital skills, artificial intelligence, and STEM systems, the space will host cultural, social, and educational activities. It also includes youth-oriented services, as well as recreational and working areas.

The hub showcases KIU’s European-standard academic programs and provides information about the university’s modern campus. UniverCity will simultaneously serve educational and tourism functions.

The event was attended by representatives and students of Kutaisi International University, as well as members of the legislative and executive authorities.
