Members of Parliament Met with the Youth Council of Lagodekhi Municipality City Hall

Irakli Kadagishvili, the parliamentary delegate for Telavi, Akhmeta, Kvareli, and Lagodekhi, and Guram Macharashvili, Deputy Chair of the parliamentary political group People’s Power, met with members of the Youth Council of Lagodekhi Municipality City Hall, who were visiting the Parliament of Georgia.

The Members of Parliament provided the young participants with information about the main areas of parliamentary activity and discussed issues related to the legislative process. The visitors expressed interest in the programmes and projects implemented by the state to support young people.

“During the meeting with members of the Youth Council, we discussed the functions and activities of Parliament. The young participants showed particular interest in education reform and state support for youth policy. The discussion also covered youth involvement in addressing local self-government needs and the importance of implementing projects developed by young people”, - said Irakli Kadagishvili.

The meeting between the Members of Parliament and the representatives of the Youth Council of Lagodekhi Municipality City Hall was also attended by the Mayor of Lagodekhi Municipality, Jondo Mdivnishvili.
