Parliament Endorsing Early Termination of Credentials of Irakli Beraia

The Parliament passed the draft resolution for the premature termination of Irakli Beraia's mandate as a member of Parliament with 85 votes.

Irakli Kadagishvili, Chairman of the Rules and Procedural Issues Committee, presented the resolution draft during the plenary session. He stated that the issue was included in the agenda due to Irakli Beraia assuming a position in the executive branch, which is incompatible with the status of a parliament member.

In accordance with the Constitution of Georgia and the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, Irakli Beraia's parliamentary mandate was terminated before its expiration date.
