Position of the Deputy Parliamentary Secretary of the Government of Georgia Abolished

The Parliament of Georgia considered, under an expedited procedure and in its III reading, the draft Law on the Parliamentary Secretary and approved it by 84 votes.

The draft law was presented at the plenary session by the Government’s Parliamentary Secretary, Vakhtang Bachiashvili.

According to the amendment, the position of Deputy Parliamentary Secretary of the Government of Georgia has been abolished.

A corresponding amendment has also been introduced to the Law of Georgia on Public Service.

The law will enter into force immediately upon promulgation.
