As part of their visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Nikoloz Samkharadze, and the Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Levan Makhashvili, held a meeting with Veronique Dockendorf, Director of the Directorate for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg.

 

The parties discussed the existing partnership between the two countries, the challenges and opportunities facing Georgia and the Black Sea region, Russia’s occupation and its negative consequences, as well as Georgia’s economic progress. They also exchanged views on Georgia–EU relations and future prospects for cooperation.
