During their visit to Strasbourg, the First Deputy Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Giorgi Chakvetadze, and the First Deputy Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Vakhtang Turnava, met with the Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, Mathieu Mori.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing developments in Georgia as well as reforms planned and implemented across various sectors. Both sides expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation in different areas.

The meeting at the Council of Europe was also attended by Khatia Tsilosani, Permanent Representative of Georgia to the Council of Europe.
