The Speaker of Parliament, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, held a meeting with the parliamentary delegation of Moldova, including the Head of the Georgia Friendship Group, Bogdat Tîrdea, and the Group members.

The parties emphasized the importance of developing people-to-people contacts, including in the tourism sector, which is further facilitated by direct flights between the two countries.
Shalva Papuashvili spoke about the legislative activities of the Parliament and the results achieved.
He also reaffirmed his readiness to continue dialogue with the Moldovan side.
The meeting was also attended by Isko Daseni, Head of the Georgia–Moldova Parliamentary Friendship Group.
