Zaza Lominadze addressed members of the Student Parliament and Government on demographic policy
Chair of the Healthcare and Social Issues Committee, Zaza Lominadze, met with members of the Student Parliament and Government and spoke about the country’s demographic policy, as well as the measures implemented by the authorities to improve the demographic situation.

Zaza Lominadze focused on existing challenges and the government’s vision for addressing them.

The Committee Chair presented statistical data on birth rates, mortality, and migration to the young participants. He identified the decline in birth rates as one of the key challenges.

“One of the most important issues facing our state today, and one on which its security depends, is demographic policy. It is important to understand what has been done over the years, what the current situation is, what the birth and mortality rates are in the country, and what needs to be done to increase the birth rate. It is also important to raise awareness among young people and improve the demographic situation. It is particularly valuable to hear young people’s views on what the government should do to provide them with maximum support”, - said Zaza Lominadze.
