LADO GUDIASHVILI'S PICTURE GALLERY

The representative of Georgian Painting School, Lado Gudiashvili was born on 18(30) March, 1896, in Tbilisi. In 1910 he entered the Tbilisi Painting and Sculpture School and graduated in 1914.
In 1915 he met the great Georgian painter - Niko Pirosmanashvili and dedicated him several paintings.
In May, 1919 there was held Lado Gudiashvili's first exhibition in Tbilisi. He represented his 80 paintings. After the exhibition he was sent to Paris, where in 1920-1925 he was getting the qualification. There he met Pablo Picasso, Amadeo Modelian, Louis Aragon and others.
In 1925 Lado Gudiashvili returned to Georgia with his new collection.
His exhibitions were held in Tbilisi, Moscow, Paris, New-York, Chicago, San-Francisco, London, Venice, Drezden, Erevan, Kharkov, Batumi...
Lado Gudiashvili died on 20 July, 1980.
