Oshki     

Oshki was the great monastery - one of the important  cultural center of Middle Ages Georgia. Mostly here was  followed literature.  From  saved literature remained Bible rewritten in 987. The inscription at the  south door of the  church explained that  foundation of cathedral is  the achievement of  Bagrat Eristavt- Eristav and  David the Magister- sons of the Kurapalat. The sizes of the church are : 44x30, the internal area height till the top of the dome is about 33 m.

 Beside the church, there are many ruins in Oshki, ruins that belonged to the different buildings of Monastery like Seminary, Library and etc.
