Safara     

Monastery complex of Safara is located in the mountains of Meskheti to the South-East.  Monastery built by the local governors Sargis and Beka Jakeli. It is the st.Saba's monastery build in 13th century. the church is to be noted - with novel proportions - the dome is lower, the church is more massive and low. The church is decorated with murals which date back to the 14th c.
