Historically
the province Kartli, nowadays the Khashuri region. Is
located at the right side of river Mtkvari. From the outside inscription seemed
that it was built in 626-634. The dome and
most part of building is ruined. The
original fragments of mosaic is saved at the state museum of Tbilisi. The
sizes of the church are: height 26 m, the width of west front is 21m, the area
of the central dome - 15 m. |
