Alexander Tabatadze, Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, and the members of the Delegation, met with the Head of the Turkey-Georgia Friendship Group of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Faruk Çelik.

The conversation encompassed the years-old close cooperation in various sectors, the regional cooperation and the steps taken for the establishment of peace in the region.

The parties highlighted that peace and stability are vital for the long-term development of the region.

Georgian MPs expressed their gratitude for supporting the territorial integrity, sovereignty and the non-recognition policy of Georgia.
