The Chair of the Culture Committee, Giorgi Gabunia, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan H.E. Hideki Ishizuka.

During the meeting, the parties discussed existing cultural relations between the two countries and the prospects for further deepening them. They also spoke about various initiatives the implementation of which would contribute to further strengthening cultural cooperation between Georgia and Japan.

“I am confident that our meeting will yield productive results and lay the groundwork for specific initiatives and events that will further deepen cultural relations between Georgia and Japan”, - Giorgi Gabunia stated.
