The Chair of the Parliamentary Permanent Open Governance Council, Irine Pruidze met with the OSCE/ODIHR Democratic Governance Officer, Jacopo Leone and discussed formation of the Council of Ethics and its Statute.

“ODIHR was initially engaged in development of the Code of Conduct for MPs and now, when the Code is adopted, they have pledged to support formation of the Council, development of its Statute and regulations and the training system. We have much to do to ensure efficiency of the Code of Conduct and we are backed by ODIHR. They recognize adoption of the Code of Conduct and formation of the Council as the greatest achievement of the Parliament”, - she stated.
