The Culture Committee heard the report of the Public Broadcaster, and the LEPL PB Ajara TV and Radio” for 2024, introduced by the Chair of the PB Board of Trustees, Vasil Maglaperidze. 

According to the reporter, 2024 was a historic year for television, as the ultramodern building, conforming to international standards, was constructed for the “Chanel One” public broadcaster, marking a move to a new premise. A newly constructed edifice is not only designed to accommodate television, radio, and online broadcasting but also for filmmaking purposes. 

The reporter introduced the program priorities, noting that the cognitive-entertaining, child and youth, and sports programs are set as priorities. He emphasised the projects, films and shows offered by the PB. 

The reporter introduced the plans and underlined that the PB intends to enhance the program policy and establish new projects, which will facilitate the creation of diverse and high-quality products. 

The Committee gave a positive assessment of the report.
