Advisory Councils Established in the Culture Committee

In accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Georgia, the Culture Committee has established two advisory councils: the Theatre and Cinema Advisroy Council and the Writers' Advisroy Council. The composition of each council was determined during the Committee session.
The councils are composed of specialists from the relevant fields.
The councils will conduct their activities in line with the Constitution of Georgia, the Parliament's Rules of Procedure, the Statute of the Culture Committee, the Statutes of the Advisory Councils, as well as other legislative and subordinate normative acts of Georgia.
As the Chair of the Committee, Giorgi Gabunia, explained, the consultative council serves as an advisory body to the Committee. Its role is to assist in identifying challenges in the field of culture, planning mechanisms for responding to these challenges, shaping cultural policy, and analysing specific initiatives.
