The First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nino Goguadze commented about the death of Georgian citizen, Irakli Kvaratskhelia detected by de-facto authority in Gali.

“The EUMM hot line provided us with the gravest information about the death of Georgian citizen, Irakli Kvaratskhelia detected by de-facto authority in Gali. The investigation will be held and we will apply every available measure to detect the circumstances. We keep communicating with our partners to put this fact into the spotlight of the international society. The State Minister has already made the statement about immediate provision of all three Chairs of Geneva Talks with the information about this fact. Now, they are in Georgia and during their scheduled visit to Sokhumi, this fact shall be one of the top issues of the agenda”.

For you information, in Gali the occupants detained the 29 years old Georgian citizen Irakli Kvaratskhelia who has died in a vague situation.
