Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee Mariam Lashkhi, together with Members of Parliament, visited Batumi Public School No. 9, where an examination centre has been established for the Unified National Examinations.

Accompanied by the Minister of Education and Sports of Ajara AR, Maia Khajishvili, the Members of Parliament inspected the examination facilities, the video monitoring room, and the examination room designated for applicants with special educational needs.

The MPs also observed the registration process for examination candidates and wished the prospective students success in their examinations.

The parliamentary delegation, together with the Minister of Education and Sports of Ajara AR, the Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Tsintsadze, and the Chairman of the Batumi City Council Ivane Maisuradze, also visited Batumi Public School No. 2.

The Members of Parliament and representatives of the local authorities toured the school's library, classrooms and infrastructure, and held discussions with the school administration and teaching staff on the implementation of the general education reform and other issues related to the educational process.
