Parliament Endorsing Early Termination of Mandates for Irakli Kobakhidze, Maka Botchorishvili, Anri Okhanashvili, Davit Songhulashvili, Mariam Kvrivishvili, Bidzina Ivanishvili, Irakli Gharibashvili and Mikheil Kavelashvili

The Parliament approved the early termination of parliamentary mandates for eight MPs.

Following the vote of confidence in the government, and in accordance with the Constitution of Georgia and the Rules of Procedure of Parliament, the agenda included the termination of parliamentary mandates for Irakli Kobakhidze, Maka Botchorishvili, Anri Okhanashvili, Davit Songhulashvili, and Mariam Kvrivishvili due to their appointment to positions incompatible with the status of an MP.

Specifically, the mandates were terminated as follows:
Irakli Kobakhidze upon his appointment as Prime Minister of Georgia.
Maka Botchorishvili due to her appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Anri Okhanashvili following his appointment as Minister of Justice.
Davit Songhulashvili upon his appointment as Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
Mariam Kvrivishvili due to her appointment as Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.


Additionally, the mandates of Bidzina Ivanishvili, Irakli Gharibashvili, and Mikheil Kavelashvili were terminated at their request.
