The Powers of 150 MPs recognized by the Parliament

The Parliament recognized the Powers of 150 MPs with 88 votes.


Prior to the voting, the Chair of the Central Election Commission, Giorgi Kalandarishvili introduced the Election returns to the Parliament and delivered the documents to the Temporary Mandates Commission necessary for the recognition of the Powers of MPs.


According to him, 2 111 834 electors expressed their votes at the Elections.


In line with the final returns of the Elections, the “Georgian Dream” obtained 89 mandates (53,93%), the “Coalition for Changes - Gvaramia, Melia, Girchi, Droa” - 19 mandates (11,03%), “Unity - National Movement” - 16 mandates (10,17%), “For Strong Georgia-Lelo, for People, Freedom” - 14 mandates (8,81%), and “Gakharia for Georgia” - 12 mandates (7,78%).


After the recognition of the Powers, Members of Parliaments took an oath of loyalty to the country, followed by the State Anthem of Georgia.
