The Procedural Issues Committee deliberated on the pre-term termination of the Powers of MP for Rusudan Tevzadze. According to David Matikashvili, Chair of the Committee, Ms. Tevzadze has addressed the Parliament with a personal application on the termination of her credentials.

The Committee approved the pre-term termination of the Powers of MP for Rusudan Tevzadze. The respective conclusion shall be submitted to the Bureau for the inclusion thereof in the plenary agenda.

The Committee also deliberated on the petition submitted to the Parliament concerning the verification of the authenticity of the signatures. The petition has been submitted by the Chairman of the Organization “Let's fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy”, Zakro Gvishiani, pertaining to the financing of the medicines for the DMD patients in Georgia.

As D. Matikashvili noted, the Committee has verified that the number of the authentic signatures does not exceed 300. Correspondingly, the Committee rejected the consideration of the petition.
