The First Deputy Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Irina Pruidze met with the Students Parliament members.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the EU Integration, the Human Rights, and the Legal Committees of the Students Parliament.

“We strive to increase awareness on the Parliament amongst the citizens and to respectively build the trust to the Parliament. It requires the society to know about the Parliament and its activity, as well as their engagement in the Parliamentary activity”, - she noted.

She spoke about the political role and oversight function of the Parliament and emphasized the thematic inquiry.

She touched upon the EU integration activity of the Parliament and spoke about EUAA and DCFTA process and the domestic policy tasks.

She stressed that the Parliament accessed the OGP initiative and underlined the role of the youth.
