The Chair of the EU Integration Committee of Georgian Parliament, Tamar Khulordava met with the Chair of the Committee on European Affairs of Chamber of Deputies of Romanian Senate, Angel Tîlvăr.

The parties discussed bilateral strategic and partnership relations. A. Tîlvăr reaffirmed intact support to EU and NATO integration of Georgia and stated that intensification of bilateral cooperation with Romania will become even more relevant for Georgia.

According to T. Khulordava, Georgia attaches high importance to support of Romania as of EU and NATO member country.

“Georgia enjoys support of Romania to EU and NATO integration. We shall jointly develop the close cooperation mechanisms within EU and NATO cooperation format. We shall also jointly ensure the Black Sea security. It will facilitate to our European aspiration”, - T. Khulordava noted.
