The Chair of the EU Integration Committee Tamar Khulordava, within the Batumi International Conference, met with the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Zoran Janković.

The parties exchange experience for EU integration. T. Khulordava spoke about EU integration of Georgia and the reforming in the country.

“Georgia and Montenegro have shared EU aspirations. Experience of Montenegro as of the EU candidate state will significantly facilitate to EU integration of Georgia”, - T. Khulordava noted.

Z. Jancovic introduced the information about EU integration process of Montenegro, and the challenges it encounters. He emphasized the EU membership related negotiations, political processes in the country and the economic progress with the EU.

The State Secretary underlined importance of cooperation of Balkan countries in EU integration process.
