The parties discussed Georgia-China economic cooperation and the Silk Road project development perspectives at the meeting with the representatives of Peace and Development Fund of Chinese People’s Republic and the Vice-Speaker of the Fund.

As Zviad Dzidziguri noted, the PDF unifies more than 15 organizations. The Delegation studies economic cooperation aspects with Georgia and is interested in Silk Road project. 

“Such frequent visits of Chinese Delegations around the Silk Road Project are in direct connection with the fact that Chinese cargo to European direction will pass through Georgia. Thus, Georgia will have significant profit and respectively, infrastructure will be developed”.

The parties stated that China plans relations with 500 ml. EU market through Georgia, which is the significant economic perspective for our country. The meeting was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, JI Yanchi.
