The meeting was attended by the delegate of the municipalities of Tkibuli, Terjola, Zestaponi and Baghdati, and First Deputy Chair of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee Zviad Shalamberidze.

During the meeting, he spoke to the students about parliamentary activities, with particular emphasis placed on regional development issues.

“We discussed the needs that young people have in their municipalities. Our main task is to support decentralization and strengthen the regions so that young people have more opportunities in their own towns and villages”, - Zviad Shalamberidze stated.

The students also toured the Parliament Palace and the Ekvtime Takaishvili Museum of Georgian Parliamentarianism. In the plenary session hall, they were welcomed by the Speaker of Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili.
