The Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee continues its inspection of school construction and rehabilitation projects across Tbilisi.

Committee Chairman Givi Mikanadze, together with Irakli Kheladze, the Nadzaladevi District delegate from the ruling party Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia, visited the construction sites of Public Schools No. 10 and No. 11 to review progress.

“Today we visited several schools in the Nadzaladevi district, including Schools No. 10 and 11, where construction is progressing actively and on schedule. These two modern facilities will soon be added to the city’s educational infrastructure. We also assessed the urgent needs and challenges of other schools in the district. In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth, we made concrete decisions to respond to these issues in the near future. This joint effort will continue both in Tbilisi and across the regions", - Givi Mikanadze stated.

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Giorgi Jincharadze emphasized that improving school infrastructure is one of the ministry’s top priorities.

“Soon, students and families will benefit from modern educational environments. The combined capacity of the new Schools No. 10 and 11 will serve approximately 1,500 students. I am pleased to see that construction is progressing successfully", - G. Jincharadze stated.

Later in the day, Parliamentary representatives, accompanied by Deputy Minister G. Jincharadze, Director of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency Irakli Kuprava, and Nadzaladevi District Governor Irakli Andguladze, inspected additional schools — No. 141, 207, 154, and 48.

“The purpose of visiting these schools is to promptly address the existing problems and challenges affecting students, parents, and teachers, and to ensure that both the learning and construction processes continue efficiently", - Irakli Kheladze noted.

In total, six public schools were inspected during the visit, which was initiated by the Education Committee and Irakli Kheladze.
