Givi Mikanadze getting cognizant of two newly renovated public schools in Kakheti

Mr. Givi Mikanadze, the Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, visited the villages of Arashenda and Bakurtsikhe of Gurjaani Municipality to get cognizant of information on the newly renovated schools.

Mr. Mikanadze was accompanied by the Delegate for Gurjaani, Sagarejo, Dedoplistskaro and Signagi Municipalities, Gia Benashvili; the Education, Science and Youth Minister, Alexander Tsuladze; the Environmental Protection and Agriculture Minister, David Songulashvili; the State Trustee to the Kakheti region, Giorgi Aladashvili; and the representatives of the local authorities.

The delegation conducted a tour of the educational facilities and extended congratulations to the students and educators on the renovated and enhanced state of the schools.

Public schools of Arashenda and Bakurtsikhe villages are designed for 500 children each and they have been fully rehabilitated by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency.

The educational institutions are equipped with the requisite academic resources and inventory and provide access to national science and technology laboratories, a library, a school doctor’s room, and external security systems. Both schools offer closed and open gyms, recreational areas, and are fully accessible to individuals with disabilities.
