The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili met with the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Austria.

The parties discussed the years-long bilateral relations and cooperation prospects. The discourse included the foreign political priorities of Georgia, the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of the countries, the geopolitical situation in the region and the security challenges for Georgia and the wider region.

M. Botchorishvili concentrated on the EU integration agenda and the fulfillment of the recommendations of the European Commission.

Austrian MPs expressed their support for the EU enlargement policy and accentuated the necessary reforms, accompanying challenges and internal political perspectives.
