Vice Speaker Nino Tsilosani and the Secretary General of Parliament Kakha Okrojanashvili met with Interns

Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Nino Tsilosani and the Secretary General of Parliament Kakha Okrojanashvili met with participants of the Parliament’s internship program.

The meeting focused on the importance of the internship program and the professional development opportunities available to young people.

According to Nino Tsilosani, the admission of a new group of interns to Parliament represents an important opportunity for young people to gain professional experience.

“We have welcomed a new group of interns to Parliament. It is encouraging that both the number of interns and their future employment opportunities are increasing. We welcome every young person who will gain practical experience in Parliament and, through this process, complete an important stage of their professional development”, - said Nino Tsilosani.

As noted by Kakha Okrojanashvili, the internship program provides young people with valuable practical experience and helps state institutions identify talented personnel.

“The internship program is important both for young people and for state institutions. On the one hand, young people acquire the basic experience necessary for working in public service, while on the other hand, the public sector is given the opportunity to identify talented and promising personnel in a competitive labor market and employ them in the future”, - said Kakha Okrojanashvili.

Participants in the internship program will undertake a three-month paid internship in various structural units of the Parliament.
