“The report introduced by the Justice Minister was oriented to the future in all regards, oriented to the service development for our citizens and improvement of the situation in line with their interests”, - the Majority MP, Anri Okhanashvili stated at the plenary session after the Parliament heard the Justice Minister, Rati Bregadze within the Ministerial Hour.
A. Okhanashvili concentrated on the reforms: “The Minister dwelt on the accessibility to the services, that are purposed to save the time of our citizens and provide them with higher effective administration; he touched upon the system land registration, which is important for our citizens and the country; he mentioned not a total punishment and zero tolerance but the resocialization of the convicts, their rehabilitation, mediation and the services that the Ministry provides and develops. It is as well important that the incumbent leadership of the Ministry has developed a Penitential Code, which we have discussed for the II reading; it envisages significant legal standards for the convicts”, - he noted.
