Giorgi Chakvetadze participated in the award ceremony for the winners of the Georgian language school competition and teachers involved in the diaspora program
The First Deputy Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Giorgi Chakvetadze, took part in the award ceremony for students who won the Georgian language school competition, as well as for teachers involved in the Georgian language distance learning component of the diaspora program.

The event was opened by the Education, Science and Youth Minister, Mr. Givi Mikanadze, who addressed the audience.

Students from both public and private schools, at the basic and secondary education levels, participated in the Georgian language competition. Within the framework of the competition, students created various creative projects.

The diaspora program is implemented by the National Center for Teacher Professional Development. In 2025, within the framework of the program, a new educational electronic platform, “Georgian Language for Emigrants,” was created, enabling up to 3,080 students living in 82 countries to participate in the learning process remotely.

As part of the same program, a component of value-based education clubs is also implemented, led by clergy with the support of the Patriarchate of Georgia.

The winning students of the Georgian language competition and the teachers involved in the diaspora program were awarded certificates and gifts.

The event was attended by representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, as well as the Patriarchate.
