Guram Macharashvili met with Students of Apeni Public School No. 1 in Lagodekhi Municipality

The Deputy Chair of the parliamentary political group People’s Power, Guram Macharashvili, met with students and teachers of Public School No. 1 in the village of Apeni, Lagodekhi Municipality.
During the meeting, the Member of Parliament introduced young people to the main areas of activity of the legislative body and spoke about the role and importance of Parliament in shaping the country's domestic and foreign policy.
The students shared their views on education reform, youth employment initiatives, and internship opportunities within Parliament.
“An interesting meeting was held with the students of Apeni School, where we discussed issues of particular relevance to young people and the importance of their involvement in addressing municipal and regional matters. During the meeting, students showed interest in Georgia’s constitutional system, Parliament’s legislative and oversight functions, state employment policy, the return of Georgian migrants to their homeland, and educational programmes”, - Guram Macharashvili stated.
