During a meeting with members of the delegation from the Kingdom of Sweden at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly visiting Georgia, Irakli Beraia, the Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee, engaged in discussions about the regional security environment. They also addressed the ongoing situation in the occupied regions of Georgia.

"During the meeting with members of the Swedish delegation in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, discussions centered on Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration process and the advancements made in this regard. The conversation also delved into the existing cooperation between Georgia and Sweden in the realms of defense and security, and potential avenues for further enhancing and fortifying these bilateral relations were explored", - Irakli Beraia stated.

The meeting was attended by Anna Lieberg, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Georgia.
