The Procedural Issues and Rules Committee deliberated on the pre-term termination of the Powers of Member of Parliament (MP) for Irakli Beraia.

As reported by David Matikashvili, the Committee Chair, the termination matter was brought to the agenda due to Mr. Beraia’s appointment as Deputy Justice Minister.

In accordance with the Constitution of Georgia and the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, this position is incompatible with the MP status. The Committee approved the matter.
